Chris Read is a dad, an artist, educator, and arts leader with a passion for integrating the arts into education. He studied Conceptual Information Arts at San Francisco State University and earned a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction specializing in Integrated Teaching Through the Arts from Lesley University.
With experience as a visual artist, graphic designer, ASP music teacher, elementary teacher, vice principal, and principal, he now serves as the Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator for WCCUSD.
He loves facilitating arts PD and leading creative community projects that inspire collaboration, equity, critical thinking, and artistic expression for all students.
