About me
Roxana Plancarte, LCSW, PPSC has served NVUSD for six years as a social worker and as Coordinator of Student Wellness and Support. She spearheads NVUSD's groundbreaking Wellness Centers and programming, including supervising a team of 16 social workers, which was recently honored with a CSBA Golden Bell Award for excellence in education. Ms. Plancarte also coordinates NVUSD's six Community Schools, and manages a variety of grants and projects related to school climate and school-based mental health services, including overseeing a robust mental health internship program currently supporting 11 masters level social work and counseling graduate students. Roxana is a bilingual and bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing community-based and school-based mental health services.
