Ms. Crystal Stone is a Program Specialist within San Bernardino City Unified School District. She provides support to over 13 school sites K-12 in Student Wellness and Support Services. This is her thirteenth year within education. Her experience began in a charter school organization in the High Desert, where she is originally from. She first served as a 2nd grade teacher and later as Reading Specialist for over six years. Ms. Stone relocated to Redlands, California and began her career with San Bernardino City Unified School District as a sixth grade teacher. Aside from teaching, she served on various committees such as Professional Development, School Climate and Culture and Equity. Ms. Crystal later became a SANKOFA teacher in math and science, a magnet program within her district for excelling African American students. She currently serves as an Equity Advisor for the SWSS department. She is an advocate for implementing strategies through an equitable lens for historically marginalized groups.
